We Choose Easy
I read today that President Obama submitted his budget and I was saddened to see that he cut NASA’s funding for the return to the moon.
I understand that the country’s out of money, and that there are programs that benifit other things but I think people tend to underestimate the science return that NASA gives us, let alone the much-needed spark of imagination and wonder that our current crop of children so desperately need.



No, this post isn’t some type of Journey retrospective. It’s about some odd event that occurred over the skies of Norway last night.
Now that the national health care bill has passed the House, it can move on to the Senate where the real in-fighting and back-biting can commence.
The national health care debate rages on in Washington. The mud flying fast and furious from both sides as usual. Scare tactics such as “death panels” from one side to threats of the impending collapse of the civilized world if nothing is done right now from the other side.
I’ve posted here before about the exploits of California’s current governor, and I haven’t changed my opinion of him.
Not being one to jump on the economic doom and gloom bandwagon (like there’s any room left on that wagon anyway) I’ve avoided blogging about the current economic mess.

I came across a story on ars technica about a DC Lawyer that represents the RIAA. When Wal-Mart closed down its DRM servers and stopped its on-line music sales, anyone who’d bought some couldn’t use it anymore.
